Qi Men
Dun Jia
An ancient art of strategic timing and directional guidance — used for centuries by military strategists, diplomats, and business leaders facing decisions where every advantage matters.
"Qi Men Dun Jia is not for everyday decisions. It is for moments when the stakes are high enough that timing and direction can genuinely change the outcome."
— Master Adrian Lo
Strategic Timing
When Every Advantage Matters
Qi Men Dun Jia (奇門遁甲) is one of the three most powerful arts in Chinese metaphysics — alongside Bazi and Flying Stars Feng Shui. Where Bazi reveals your personal energy chart and Feng Shui addresses your environment, Qi Men Dun Jia addresses time and direction.
It works by mapping the energetic quality of any given moment across a grid of nine sectors — each governed by a combination of doors, stars, and deities. For a specific action taken in the right direction at the right time, the outcome is supported by the energy of that moment.
This is a sophisticated art that goes beyond general date selection. It is specific to a question, a person, and a precise window of time.
Master Lo applies Qi Men Dun Jia selectively — when a client faces a decision or situation where strategic timing and direction can meaningfully affect the outcome.
Situations Where This Is Applied
High-stakes business negotiations — identifying the most favourable time and direction for a critical meeting or proposal.
Legal proceedings — selecting a direction of approach and timing for court appearances or dispute resolution.
Major business decisions — launching a new venture, making a key hire, or relocating operations.
Forecasting and planning — understanding the energy of an upcoming period and preparing accordingly.
Strategic Clarity When It Matters Most

Common Questions
Qi Men Dun Jia — FAQ
Feng Shui is about your environment — how the energy of your home or workspace supports or hinders you over time. Qi Men Dun Jia is a divination and strategy system used to gain clarity on a specific question or decision at a specific point in time. Where Feng Shui optimises your environment, Qi Men Dun Jia helps you navigate a particular situation — a negotiation, a legal matter, a business decision. They complement each other but serve different purposes.
Qi Men Dun Jia works best for high-stakes, time-sensitive decisions where clarity is needed quickly — business negotiations, legal disputes, investment timing, partnership evaluations, and strategic planning under uncertainty. It is less suited to open-ended life questions. If you have a specific situation you are navigating and want an independent read on the energetics, this is the right tool.
It is more accurately described as a structured strategic analysis. Qi Men Dun Jia maps the energetic landscape of a situation at a given moment — identifying which forces are working in your favour, which are working against you, and where leverage can be found. It does not predict outcomes with certainty. It gives you a more informed basis for decision-making.
Business owners and senior executives most commonly seek Qi Men Dun Jia consultations — particularly before important negotiations, decisions about partnerships, or in situations where the path forward is unclear. It has also been used for personal decisions involving significant life changes. It is a specialised service, and Master Lo will tell you honestly at the outset whether your specific situation is suited to it.
